(Painting reality with fiction)
Please read carefully, you may be to someone a saviour today.
17yrs beautiful Ada was raised in a very poor family. Her parents were so poor that even a one square meal was like a miracle. She had always wished to become a doctor in future but, her dad being a mere labourer and her mum who always sit at home daily praying for a positive change was a threat to her promising future.
Ada's endowment was so captivating that even as a teenage girl, men were coming for marriage. Mr Sunday (Ada's dad) saw it as an avenue to rise from poverty.
Ada is the 1st child of 7 (this is why my lecturer, Paul Saint Christopher will always say that poor parents raise Lot's of children because all they do is to look at each other and the rest becomes a story after 9 months). Smiles!
Ada was forcefully married to Chief Ekwueme who had promised her parents heaven on earth. Despite all she did to prevent the marriage was to no avail and her family members just assumed that it was not their business.
Just last month, the marriage rites were concluded and Chief Ekeuwme kept his promise to her dad. But, despite the fact that Ada is the 4th wife, she was maltreated brutally by the other wives and their children.
Chief Ekwueme's only concern was to enjoy several sex escapades with the teenage girl who sometimes was cut with sharp objects and raped mercilessly if she deprived him of sex. Just within a week, she had already suffered some vaginal problems. Hmmm!
Yesterday, Ada rushed home to her parents who were already living like royalties for safety after she was burnt with a hot iron by the 1st wife (Lolo Oriaku). Unfortunately for the poor teenage girl, her parents threw her out immediately and disowned her. (All in the name of securing the luxuries they are already enjoying).
Ada could not find even a tear to shed as her clothes were all soaked with her blood. She became numb as a walking ghost. She struggled home to her toilet and stabbed herself to death with some broken tiles on the wall. But, she left a very bold description on a small piece of paper which says "SAY NO TO TEENAGE MARRIAGE".
THE END!
